Arlan grew up in Kazakhstan, taught himself to code in high school and quietly shipped small software projects while obsessing over the limits of existing AI coding tools. Instead of following the safe track he dropped out of school at 17, relocated to London and decided that his entire life would orbit a single idea: give engineers a real AI copilot that actually understands their codebase.

Nia was his wedge into that vision, an AI agent that indexes a developer's repos and lets them search and reason about code with deep context instead of autocomplete tricks. He joined Entrepreneurs First in London, iterated fast on the product and used that early validation to convince LocalGlobe to lead an $850,000 pre seed round while he was still a teenager. That capital and network set up the next leap, a more ambitious infrastructure layer that eventually became Nozomio and its context engine for coding agents.

The public trail is unusually clear for a founder this young. By late 2025 the story compounds. Business Insider reports that Nozomio, his AI coding agents startup, completed YC and closed a $6.2 million seed round from CRV, BoxGroup and other notable investors. On LinkedIn, Arlan shares that he spent a year building Nia as context and memory infrastructure for AI agents and that a launch built on top of that stack crossed 30,000 messages and 2.5 million views in 48 hours. The pattern is consistent: a teenager repeatedly ships infrastructure that developers actually use, then turns visible traction into increasingly serious capital.
